Jenna Bello
RN

Jenna is a Long Islander through and through. She was born on the island and raised in Hampton Bays. Her family has a strong history of working in health care, and she continues to carry the compassionate torch.

Jenna received her RN at Suffolk County Community College School of Nursing and began her career as an operating room nurse at Stony Brook University Medical Center. She became a skilled OR nurse in the fields of neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. As a busy OR nurse, she also managed to help the eastern Long Island community by spending her days off to working in an urgent care center in Southhampton, NY.

Dr. Proothi and Jenna first crossed paths in the OR at Stony Brook. Her exceptional nursing skills combined with her ability to understand the ins and outs of a private health care facility allowed them to open Stony Brook Oral and Facial Surgery together. While she is not working, Jenna and her loving and supportive husband, Chris, are busy raising two boys, Ryan and Evan. When she is not running the SBOFS practice, she can be found alongside her husband, cheering on their sons in a hockey game, or figuring out how to get down the ski slopes in an upright position.
